Tasting Room Policies

1. Hours of Operation: We are open from 10am-5pm, 7 days a week. Our last tasting starts at 4:30pm with a duration not to exceed 1 hour.

2. Reservations: Reservations are highly recommended to allow us to provide the best service possible. Walk-ins are seated as available but are not guaranteed. Walk-ins are available on a first come first served basis.

3. Running Late: If you are running late for your reservation, please give us a call. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes

4. Pets Policy: We want to offer the best possible experience for all of our patrons here at Opolo! We welcome well-behaved furry friends on the patio. Unfortunately, we will have to ask you to remove your pet if it becomes a nuisance to guests due to barking, aggressive behavior, or off leash.

5. Tasting Fees: Our standard tasting fee is $30 per tasting. This fee can be waived with a 2 bottle purchase of wine

6. Club Member Tastings: We want to provide the best experience we can to all of our members who come visit us at the Opolo Estate. Whenever possible, reservations are preferred so that we can prepare for your visit. Please make sure you are logged in to your club member account when making a reservation to redeen up to 4 complimentary tastings per membership per visit. 7. Group Size: Bookings for our indoor and patio table-side wine tasting experiences are limited to six guests per reservation, and one reservation per group. Multiple parties cannot be sat together. For groups of seven or more, please email concierge@opolo.com with your large group inquiry.

8. Food Policy: Outside food and beverage are not permitted at Opolo. Food is available with the purchase of wine at our outdoor patio bar, and additional confectionary items are available for purchase in the tasting room.

 

Club Policies

  • You may opt out or place your membership on hold after receipt of three official wine club shipments.
  • Our wine club DOES NOT offer the option for members to customize their shipments. However, we do offer a range of club options designed to cater to different tastes and preferences.
  • Wine Club membership may be placed on hold for a maximum of two shipments per calendar year.
  • Will Call shipments will automatically be shipped out after 90 days at the member’s expense.
  • If you would like to update your Credit Card, Billing Address, or Shipping Address please do so by logging into your club member account, emailing us at club@opolo.com or calling us at (805)238-9593
  • Due to legal restrictions on shipments of wine and other alcoholic beverages, we cannot ship to the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont or West Virginia
  • By joining the club, you agree that if you need to make any modifications, or to skip a shipment for any reason after your initial commitment has been met, you will do so before the deadline listed in the pre-shipment notification and acknowledge that not doing so may result in extra shipping or handling fees. You understand that additional charges will apply for returned, reshipped or misdirected wine.

2. ALCOHOL WARNING

Opolo Wines promotes the responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. As such, we encourage you to drink responsibly and be mindful of your alcohol intake. By accessing this website, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence. We do not sell alcohol to individuals under the legal drinking age.

PREGNANCY WARNING: Drinking alcohol during pregnancy can cause birth defects. Pregnant women should avoid alcoholic beverages.

3. CALIFORNIA REDEMPTION VALUE TAX COLLECTION NOTICE:

Opolo Wines complies with California’s beverage container recycling program, which includes the California Redemption Value (CRV) tax. This CRV tax is applied to specific beverage containers at the time of purchase. It serves as a deposit, and consumers are eligible for a refund when they return the empty containers to an authorized recycling center.

Opolo Wines supports environmentally friendly practices, including the responsible recycling of beverage containers. We encourage our customers to participate in the CRV program to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
