Cheers!
We began the day with wine tasting and mezze at a quaint little restaurant covered by palapas. We were joined by master sommelier, Ivica Stojanovic, and his one of a kind wines! Followed by a tour of the Petrovaradin Fortress and a quick break along the Danube river.
Next we visited the charming city of Novi Sad. Cafes and restaurants are set along cobble stone streets and churches, representing a very classic European look. We happened to be there during Tamburica Festival 2017 and got to experience one of their sound checks–extremely cool for those that love this traditional folklore music.
On the way back to Belgrade we stopped at an Opolo favorite, Vinska Kuca Kovacevi, for an amazing five course, wine paired dinner. Great wines and very unique, delectable foods!
