Catch spring fever at Opolo during our Spring Release Weekend on March 21-23 as we go all out to celebrate the season with you.
The festivities include a Sunset Crab Feed; wine and cheese pairing flights all weekend long; and the return of our Estate Tour experience for spring and summer. It’s all part of Spring Release Month with our friends and peers at the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance.

Sunset Crab Feed on March 22nd
Savor an unforgettable and festive dining experience as we gather around buckets brimming with fresh Dungeness, Jonah, and Snow crab, succulent lobster, shrimp, baby potatoes, corn, and homemade Andouille sausage—all perfectly seasoned and ready to crack, dip, and savor.
Plus, it all happens amid the charming ambiance of our Barrel Room! Here, you will sip award-winning wines as the sun melts into the vineyards, setting the stage for a lively night of dancing, laughter, and indulgence! This event sells out every year, so act fast.
New Wine and Cheese Pairings
The Spring Release weekend marks the launch of our new Wine & Cheese Pairing experience, featuring new Opolo releases paired with cheeses from Central Coast Creamery.
Featured pairings include our 2023 Chardonnay paired with Holy Cow Cheese; our 2021 Maestro red blend paired with Sea Scape Cheddar; and 2022 Mountain Zinfandel paired with Aries Sheep Milk Cheese. Plus two other incredible pairings—we’ll stop there to save some element of surprise!
Estate Tour Returns
Our acclaimed Estate Tour returns on Spring Release weekend. During this exclusive private tour, you will taste wines as you journey through the vineyard; learn about Opolo’s history, winemaking and sustainable farming practices; and indulge in a secluded sit-down tasting featuring some of the rarest Opolo Reserve selections.
Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the coastal mountains and learn about what makes the Willow Creek District one of the world’s most highly regarded winegrowing areas. The Estate Tour will be available from now through fall.
Spirits Tastings
And let’s not forget that you can also enjoy craft spirits at our affiliated on-site Willow Creek Distillery, which specializes in contemporary renditions of classic spirits including whiskey, brandy and liqueur. Come for a tasting flight in our unique distillery setting and experience a truly amazing range of flavors and styles.
