Opolo Viognier comes from our estate vineyards and other select sites on both the eastside and westside areas of Paso Robles, cultivating a natural complexity of fruit expressions. We aim to produce a highly aromatic Viognier with a focus on freshness and purity. 

The 2022 Viognier presents vivid aromas of orange blossom, stone fruit, butterscotch and sliced almond. The mouthfeel is sleek and juicy, showing fresh flavors of apricot, pineapple, pear and tangerine. Notes of spice join crisp acidity on a clean, fresh finish. Fermented predominantly in stainless steel, with a small portion fermented in French oak barrels for enhanced complexity.  

Winemaker's Notes

Aromas of orange blossom, candied peaches and sweet honey burst out of the glass. Upon the first sip, tart lemon cuts through the body of this wine energizing the midpalate as tangerine cream and a strike of blossom petals lingers in your mouth.

Pair with baked salmon in a coconut saffron sauce
