For more than 19 years, Opolo Mountain Zinfandel has been a standard bearer of Paso Robles. As always, the 2021 vintage exhibits our trademark Mountain Zinfandel style: bold, fruit-forward and lively through the finish.

The 2021 Mountain Zinfandel is a faithful reflection of the coastal mountain terroirs west of downtown Paso Robles, including our Willow Creek District estate. It opens with warm, jammy aromas of raspberry, black cherry, dried herb and sandalwood. A juicy, brambly palate delivers sumptuous flavors of cherry, boysenberry, blueberry and dark chocolate with a touch of earthy complexity. Aged for 10 months in 25% percent new French oak barrels.

Winemaker's Notes
