2024 Reserve Remo Belli Zinfandel
For this special single-vineyard selection, we ventured to Remo Belli Vineyard in the nearby Adelaida District, which is named for the famous jazz drummer who planted the vines. Remo Belli Vineyard produces a Zinfandel that balances intensity with finesse. True to form, the 2024 vintage is a showstopper with effusive red fruit aromas accented by wildberry, herbs, and toasty oak. Lush and jammy on the palate, it floods the mouth with rich flavors of dried strawberry, raspberry, cherry, cedar, cola, and vanilla. Hints of spice linger on a smooth, supple finish. Enjoy this wine with brisket, tri-tip, and hearty pastas. Only 97 cases produced.
2022 Reserve Primitivo
Italy’s Primitivo grape is genetically identical to California Zinfandel, and both originate from Croatia! Yet despite their common origins, they display distinct qualities rooted in regional evolution and expression. At our Willow Creek District estate vineyards, Primitivo comes alive with bold flavors and spicy finesse. The 2022 vintage is notable for its brambly berry and blue fruit aromas with notes of sandalwood and dried herbs. A rich, viscous texture shows flavors of cherry, cranberry, vanilla, and peppery spice. A bright, zesty finish brings the wine to a memorable conclusion. A great match for Italian sausage, calzone, and hard aged cheeses.
2022 Reserve Willow Creek Zinfandel
This limited Zinfandel comes from our Quinn West and To the Moon estates in the westside Willow Creek District, which is prized for producing Zinfandels with fresh aromatics and lively textures. The 2022 vintage was selected from the finest blocks and aged for 19 months in premium French and American oak barrels for full reserve treatment. The 2022 vintage presents an elegant bouquet of red fruits, dried rose petal, baking spice, and light oak notes. The mouthfeel is fresh and focused, offering juicy flavors of cherry, cranberry, blueberry, and cola with finishing hints of white pepper. This wine pairs nicely with pulled pork, lasagna, and spicy meat flatbread. Only 95 cases produced.
