Blend Like a Pro – Your Perfect Bordeaux Awaits!
Get ready for a weekend of creativity, competition, and incredible wines. Join us for our infamous Blending Parties, where you’ll craft your own Bordeaux blend and bring home a magnum of your perfect concoction. Don’t miss your chance to mix, sip, and savor like a true winemaker!

MEMBERS: $140.00 | NON-MEMBERS: $160.00
Join us as we gather graduated cylinders and lab coats for one of the year’s most anticipated events. This is your chance to taste, mix, and create what you deem to be the perfect blend. Every new “winemaker” will get to create a magnum of their own special Bordeaux blend to take home. Our expert tasting panel will judge your wines and find the best blend in the group. The winemaker with the winning blend will receive an etched double magnum of their unique Opolo blend as a trophy!

We strongly recommend coordinating any private drivers, ride share, or designated drivers in advance to your visit to the Opolo estate.
RIDE SHARE SERVICES:
- Ride shares apps such as Uber or Lyft along with private drivers are available to transport you to and from our events! We highly recommend scheduling these programs in advance as service at the Opolo Estate can be very spotty.
HOTEL PARTNERS:
- The Oxford Paso Robles has a complimentary shuttle to and from Opolo for guests attending our Sunset Crab Feeds. Please see the above “Lodging” section for more details on our hotel partners.
Event FAQs
DRESS CODE: We recommend dressing comfortably and casually for our Blending parties! You will be provided with an Opolo blending coat to protect your clothing from any spills, splashes, or other blending science fun.
SEATING: We will reach out before your event to inquire about any seating preferences you may have! If you have a large party, feel free to call us at 805.238.9593 or email events@opolo.com to secure seating together.
tasting room
Tis the season for spectacular wine, food, and entertainment! Join us at the Opolo Estate during your Paso Robles weekend and enjoy rotating wine flights in our tasting room and artisanal food pairings on the patio.
You can also enjoy our small batch and hand crafted distillery spirits at Willow Creek Distillery located inside our barrel room!
Wine club members receive 2 complimentary tastings per visit on event weekends.
