Patio Host Coordinator
Job Title: Patio Host Coordinator (Concierge)
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time
Compensation: $17.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience) + tips
Summary:
The Patio Host Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for guests at Opolo, creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable first impression. This role is responsible for greeting and engaging guests, educating them on available tasting and dining experiences, and ensuring smooth guest flow throughout the property.
To be successful in the role, the best-fit candidate must have the following skills:
Essential Functions:
- • Warmly greet and engage guests upon arrival• Educate guests on available experiences (wine tasting, distillery, lunch options)• Coordinate guest flow between the tasting room, barrel room, and patio• Check in reservations and direct groups to appropriate locations in a timely manner• Utilize the Tock reservation system to input and update guest and server information• Monitor patio areas to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and elevated guest experience• Check and maintain restroom cleanliness throughout shifts• Thank and engage guests upon departure to ensure a positive final impression• Other assignments as needed.
Working Conditions:
- • Schedule includes weekends and holidays• Occasional extended hours during peak seasons and special events• Physically active role with moderate to heavy lifting (including wine cases and event setup)• Standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly• Assists with transporting wine purchases to guest vehicles when needed• May assist with washing glassware and maintaining cleanliness standards
Requirements:
- • Must be 18 years or older• High school diploma or equivalent required• Food Handler, RBS certified within 30 days of hire
