A: Depending on your taste and wine preferences, we have a variety of club options to suit your needs! If you have any questions, please contact us.
Our selections include three club levels: 4-bottle, 6-bottle, and 12-bottle memberships with the following varietal options:
- Mixed*
- Red Wines Only
- White Wines Only
- Mountain Zin Only
*Please note that mixed wine memberships will receive red wines only in their February and November shipments, correlating with seasonal wines.
Q: Can I split my club membership with a friend/family member?
A: Our club memberships are designed for individual enjoyment and cannot be shared or split between multiple individuals. In the case of a married couple with different last names, we kindly request that you select one last name as the primary name for the club membership. This helps us ensure accurate record-keeping and streamlined communication.
Q: How many complimentary wine tastings do members receive per visit?
A: Members receive up to four complimentary wine tastings per visit as part of their membership benefits.
During festival weekends, the number of complimentary tastings is limited to two. This adjustment ensures that all members have the opportunity to enjoy our wines and participate in the festivities, while managing the increased demand.
Q: What wine discounts do I receive as a member?
A: Club benefits are based on bottle allocation. Wine discounts are as follows:
- 15% off wine for 4 bottle members
- 20% off wine for 6 bottle members
- 30% off wine for 12 bottle members

Q: How do I use my membership discount?
A: To ensure you receive your membership discounts, please follow the instructions below based on your preferred ordering method:
- Online Orders: Simply sign in to your club member account at opolo.com, and your membership discounts will be automatically applied at checkout.
- Phone or In-person Orders: If you prefer to place your order over the phone or at the tasting room, please provide the name associated with your membership account. Our team will apply the applicable discount for you during the ordering process.
Q: How do I make a club member reservation at the Opolo Estate?
A: To make reservations at the Opolo Estate, you have two convenient options:
- Online Reservations: Click here to start your reservation! Please log in using the email associated with your Opolo club membership. From there, you can select the club member experience of your choice and proceed with booking your reservation.
- Phone Reservations: You may also call the Opolo Estate directly at (805) 238-9593 to make your reservation over the phone. Our staff will be happy to assist you in securing your preferred club member experience.

Q: Can I swap out wines in my allocation?
A: Our wine club does NOT offer the option for members to customize their shipments. However, we do offer a range of club options designed to cater to different tastes and preferences!
Q: How often do you ship wine club allocations?
A: Our wine club ships quarterly (4 times a year) in February, May, September, and November.
Q: Can I swap out the wines in my wine club shipment?
A: Our wine club does NOT offer the option for members to customize their shipments. However, we do offer a range of club options designed to cater to different tastes and preferences.

A: Opolo wine club shipments are sent out in February, May, September, and November
Q: It’s hot where I live, can I skip this shipment?
A: We understand that extreme heat can pose challenges for wine shipments and are happy to accommodate your temperature needs!
We offer delayed shipment flexibility for September shipments to be sent in November when the weather is more favorable.
Alternatively, for Central to East Coast states, we are more than happy to include ice in your shipment to maintain ideal temperatures during transit, safeguarding the quality and integrity of your wines.
Rest assured, we are committed to delivering an exceptional wine experience while prioritizing the protection of your wines. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team to discuss the best option for your specific situation!
Q: If I have two shipments to pick up or ship, can I make changes to the wines included in both shipments?
A: No. Once a shipment has been processed and is either ready for pick-up or scheduled for shipping, the wines included in that specific shipment cannot be modified. We recommend reviewing and adjusting your wine selections before the cut-off date for each shipment to ensure you receive the wines that best suit your preferences. All deadlines are clearly communicated in advance notice via allocation emails.
Q: Where can I pick up my wine?
A: Members can pick up wine shipments at either of our two locations: our Paso Robles Estate Tasting Room or our Westlake Village office. Please note that while the Westlake Village office is not a dedicated tasting room, we do organize quarterly pick-up parties where members can enjoy wine tastings in the courtyard just outside the building. Additionally, members can utilize the Westlake Village office to purchase and pick up additional wine and distilled spirits.
Q: Who can receive my Wine Club Shipment?
A: Shipped club allocations may be received by anyone who is over 21 years old and able to sign for your package. Allocations held for pickup may be collected by anyone over 21 years old who has been identified as a trusted pick up person on your account. Please note that wine club benefits are non-transferrable to family members or friends, even if they are a designated pick up person.
Q: Can I ship to a non-residential address?
A: Absolutely! We recommend shipping to your place of work if you do not foresee being home to receive packages. Please ensure that someone over 21 years old is present to sign for your shipment.
Q: What if I miss my wine shipment?
If you are not present to receive your shipment or there is not a person of 21 years + to sign for it, the carrier will attempt to re-deliver shipment two more times. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, the shipment will be returned to the winery.
Q: What States can you ship to?
A: We are currently able to ship to all states with the exception of Hawaii, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, and West Virginia.
Q: If I purchase wine on the same day of signing up, is it considered a wine club shipment?
A: No. Purchases made on the same day that you join the club are not considered a wine club allocation. This is treated as an additional purchase separate from the wine club membership. However, you will be able to use your wine club discount on this purchase!
Q: What if I want to add additional wine to my club allocation?
A: You are more than welcome to add additional wines to your club allocation! Just send an email to club@opolo.com or call our office at (805) 238-9593. Additionally, club members can enjoy complimentary shipping on orders of 12 bottles or more on our website during club months.
Q: What is the average cost for each club shipment?
A: Price ranges are reflected above in club options section and do no include shipping for ship-to club members.
Q: Can I choose the wine in my shipments?
A: No, our wine club does not offer the option for members to customize their shipments. However, we do offer a range of club options designed to cater to different tastes and preferences!
