Compensation: Competitive hourly pay plus tips ($18–$22/hr + tips)
Summary: Bring your passion for food to life at Opolo! We’re currently looking for line cook jobs, prep cook openings, and station chef positions to join our growing kitchen team. As a kitchen team member, you’ll be at the heart of our Pairings on the Patio lunch service and the energy behind our special events. This is a fast-paced kitchen job where you’re not just chopping and plating—you’re crafting unforgettable culinary moments. To be successful in the role, the best-fit candidate must have the following skills:

Essential Functions:

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food and accompaniments for lunch service
• Execute menu items according to recipes
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and guest-ready kitchen environment (dishes, surfaces, trash, etc.).
• Stock inventory and store food properly
• Ensure food comes out in high quality and a timely fashion
• Notify supervisor of low stock or malfunctioning equipment
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Provide a welcoming and responsive environment for all Opolo patrons
• Other assignments as needed

Working Conditions:

• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Extended hours during events and busy seasons
• Physical demands include lifting, dishwashing, and prolonged standing

Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Hospitality-minded with excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail with accuracy and speed
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly (cases of wine)
• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)
• Available weekends, holidays, and flexible for peak seasons or events
• Food Handler, RBS certified within 30 days of hire
