All from the Opolo Reserve Collection, these wines hail from the westside coastal mountains of Paso Robles.  Zinfandel has been a centerpiece at Opolo since our founding in 1999. Over the years, we have identified some of the region’s best districts and vineyards to incorporate into our Reserve Collection. These wines are the fruits of our longtime passion for this Paso Robles heritage variety.

This limited selection Zinfandel comes from multiple select vineyards in the Adelaida District AVA in the coastal range of northwest Paso Robles. These steep mountainous terroirs produce a Zinfandel with bright flavors and pure structure. The 2020 vintage is loaded with scents of raspberry, fruit leather, cola, clove and dried herb. A soft mouthfeel expands with jammy flavors of red fruit, coffee, licorice, cigar box and light spice. Juicy acidity gives liftoff to a vibrant finish. Enjoy with grilled vegetables and barbecued chicken.

2020 Willow Creek Zinfandel – Reserve Collection

Willow Creek District, Paso Robles

This limited selection Zinfandel comes from the Opolo estates and other select vineyards in the Willow Creek District in the westside coastal mountains of Paso Robles. The Willow Creek District AVA is notable for producing rich Zinfandels that balance intensity with elegance. The 2020 vintage leads with heady aromas of raspberry, cherry, sandalwood and loam. The palate is plush and rounded, exhibiting earthy fruit flavors of black cherry, blackberry, plum, cherry cola and vanilla cream. Hints of black pepper bring spiciness to a full, lively finish. Pair with spicy red pastas and sausage flatbread.

2020 Remo Belli Zinfandel – Reserve Collection
100% Zinfandel
Remo Belli Vineyards, Paso Robles This single-vineyard selection comes from one of the Adelaida District’s most notable Zinfandel sites, named for the famous jazz drummer and drumhead innovator who planted the vines. A Zinfandel of richness and finesse. The 2020 vintage displays complex aromas of blueberry, mocha, sage and eucalyptus. Lithe, velvety textures coat the palate with concentrated flavors boysenberry, mulberry, cherry and vanilla bean. Spicy notes of cracked black pepper linger on a thick, enveloping finish. Savor this wine with carnitas tacos and marinated skirt steak.
